Steinle Contemporary,
a young art gallery situated in Munich focuses on conceptual positions within contemporary art.
 
National, international, up and coming as well as established artists are represented by the gallery. The artists in the program use a variety of disciplines but mainly within the realm of installation, sculpture and drawing.

The interest of most of the artists lies in a thematic or theoretical discourse, investigating issues of today. The media used by individual artists often changes according to context and subject matter. The aim of the gallery is to promote artistic positions which focus on an aesthetic discussion, but nevertheless go beyond an entirely formal decision making process

Within the artists works we are always looking for a challenging and engaging range of work which offers the viewer an intellectual and critical exchange.
 
We are often more interested in intensive artistic gestures that breaks with the standard gallery format. We do this by promoting a lot of site-specific, installative work.
